The Stomping Ground is a unique winemaking concept just south of Silicon Valley. Work is underway to transform a former industrial facility into a state of the art winemaking studio, hosting a number of premium wineries for wine tasting, production, custom crush and related agri-tourism activities. Long-term plans include having on-site restaurants, gourmet food artisans, community events and concerts. The possibilities are endless with the amount of space available at TSG.
The 7-acre property was purchased by Jason and Janu Goelz (Jason-Stephens Winery and Alara Cellars), and Tim Slater (Sarah’s Vineyard) in 2016. In hopes of getting the Santa Clara AVA recognized for its superb wineries, these winemakers came up with The Stomping Ground concept. One place that has it all.
